Coffee lovers, take note: your favourite caffeine stop just grew up.
Artigiano, a staple for Vancouver’s coffee crowd, has officially stepped into the world of fine dining with the opening of their new Grand Cafe at Park Royal South. This isn’t just a renovation; it’s a complete metamorphosis from a daytime café into a European-inspired dining destination.
The Vibe: Parisian Chic Meets West Coast Cool
Stepping inside the two-storey space feels like a quick trip to Europe. Think vintage murals, brass finishes, and enough lush greenery to make you forget it's raining outside. It’s sophisticated without being stuffy—perfect for both a quick espresso or a three-course dinner.
The Menu: A Culinary Upgrade
Executive Chef Jasmin Porcic is running the kitchen, bringing a serious upgrade to the food program. Forget the pastry case; we’re talking about a full menu featuring:
Wood-fired pizzas* with artisanal toppings.
Crispy parmesan risotto* (comfort food, but make it fashion).
Braised organic beef short ribs.
Pan-fried branzino** for the seafood purists.
To pair with the food, the new beverage program includes modern takes on classics, like the Caffe Negroni and Cocoliche Margarita.
What You Need to Know
The Grand Cafe is currently in soft opening mode, serving dinner from 5 p.m. onwards. Lunch service is launching imminently, with brunch following shortly after—just in time for holiday socializing.
Coming Soon
If that wasn't enough, they are already teasing a second-floor terrace set to open next year, which will add another 64 seats and a second bar to the mix.
The Verdict?
Artigiano is proving they can do a lot more than just latte art. whether you’re a local or just visiting Park Royal, the Grand Cafe is shaping up to be West Vancouver’s new "it" spot.
